In August, the combined Asbury - Bethany UMC youth group went down to Goldsboro to implement repairs on two homes, a trailer, and a warehouse.  The mission was coordinated through MERCI.

Here we're replacing the skirting on the trailer.

Had to do a little woodwork...

We're fixing up the cabinets and doing a little ceiling work.

The lady who lives here has deteriorating eyesight, so we painted the walls white to lighten up the place a little.

Here's what our missionaries had to say about their trip: "It was a really great experience." "We got to meet other people, and we got to know each other." "I realized that so many people have a lot less than we have."
